About me - get to know me

In 2007, I completed my Master’s degree in Operational Management / Data Science and a further degree in International Management. After graduating, I applied for a job in securities trading and algorithmic trading in Amsterdam to gain some initial experience. However, the financial crisis thwarted my plans as early as 2009, which is why I decided to work for a software company in Frankfurt am Main. And that’s where I found my first dream job! I got to know the roles of Product Owner, Product Manager and Scrum Master and worked in international teams. From 2010-2012, I even had the privilege of supporting a financial institution in Switzerland in the development of several trading algorithms. My tasks included programming essential parts of the algorithms in C++ and doing elements of DevOps.

From 2012 to 2015, I was in Poland again where I co-founded a fintech start-up in the field of FX trading. I took care of the requirements specification and testing of the trading system and learned a lot about project management, people management and the lean start-up methodology. The company was sold and merged, so I was looking for new projects.

Back in Frankfurt am Main, I worked as management- and technology consultant for banks and wealth management companies (German: KVG) and was involved in setting up robo-advisory platforms of two competing players. My tasks included digitalisation and process optimisation as a business analyst and test manager. My experience at the major consultancy Accenture in Kronberg im Taunus helped me to develop my skills in (very) large-scale projects and to obtain the relevant certificates. During this time, I also worked on several short IT projects in the area of market risk and credit risk.

In 2020, I decided to become self-employed again. My first project for the Federal Ministry is still running today. In this major project with up to 250 employees, I had up to 50 QA engineers in my QA team as its QA manager.

Thanks to my many years of experience in various IT project roles, I can provide really professional advice on IT projects and IT recruiting. As I have also built up a Europe-wide network, I can quickly put together a selection of high-quality candidates for an IT project.
